Bonfy For Claude — Contextual Data Enforcement

Your AI is accessing your data. Who's watching the door?

Bonfy's Contextual Data Enforcement puts a content-aware enforcement engine between Claude and your enterprise data stores, so your AI accesses only what you explicitly permit.

Problem

The gap no one is talking about

When you connect Claude to SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Google Drive, or any other data repository, the native connector returns everything the user can access. There's no sensitivity label enforcement. No content inspection. No policy control.

Your data governance work (the classifications, the Purview labels, the access policies) stops at the connector.

That means legal documents, financial records, PII, and client-confidential data can flow freely into AI context windows, responses, and memory. Without a log. Without a control. Without an audit trail.

Bony gives you a simpler answer.

Solution

Contextual enforcement. Zero new infrastructure.

The Bonfy Contextual Data Enforcement is a transparent proxy connector that intercepts data flowing from your repositories to your AI client. It inspects content in real time using Bonfy's classification engine and enforces your access policies before data reaches the AI.

The setup: replace the native connector with Bonfy's. That's it.

How It Works — Three Steps

1. Replace the Connector

Disable the native Claude for Microsoft 365. Enable the Bonfy secure connector. From the AI platform's perspective, nothing has changed — the same tools, the same interface.

2. Define Your Policies

Use Bonfy's policy engine to define what data the AI can and cannot access: block PII, enforce sensitivity labels, restrict financial or legal content, create custom rules for your compliance requirements.

3. AI Accesses What You Permit

When the AI requests data, Bonfy inspects the content in real time. Permitted content flows through. Blocked content returns a clean access-denied response to the AI. End users see nothing different. Your data stays under control.

What Bonfy Delivers

  • Content-level policy enforcement. Block or allow data based on what's in it, not just who owns it.

  • Sensitivity label and Purview classification enforcement for AI connectors.

  • PII detection and blocking in real time.

  • Transparent deployment. No end-user workflow changes.

  • Microsoft 365 and SharePoint at launch; Google Drive on roadmap.

  • Auditable access logs for compliance and client assurance.

  • Full coexistence with existing CASB, MCP gateway, and DLP investments.

  • Support for Claude Enterprise, Claude Code, Copilot Studio, and MCP/REST-compatible AI platforms.

Built for security teams navigating AI adoption

Bonfy's Contextual Data Enforcement is designed for organizations that are deploying or planning to deploy enterprise AI with connections to internal data stores and need technical controls that match the speed of adoption.

It's especially relevant for teams that:

  • Are under client or regulatory pressure to demonstrate AI data governance
  • Have existing data classification investments that don't currently reach AI connectors

  • Are deploying Claude Enterprise, Claude Code, or Copilot Studio at scale
